Heyy guys! This is my first coloring tutorial, :D Hope you guys like it, and can give me some tips to improve or you know just says hi :)
I'm using CS4, but will work for any other Photoshop versions containing Selective Color.
Isn't that gorgeous? LOL. It's finally friday!

Take your base and duplicate.
Set it to Screen at an opacity of 40%.
If your image is super dark, screening it twice will make the image much brighter, but generally once makes most images bright enough.

Go to Layer, New Adjustment Layer, Selective Color.
Relative should be checked as a default, but if not, change it.
Red: -46, 23, -33, 0
Yellows: 33, 45, -32, 26
Blacks: 30, 38, 0, 0
The red should saturate picture and add a dark color, while the yellow will brighten it up marginally. The black will settle the darker colors and contrast it.

You can stop here, or continue if you want.
Go to Layer, New, Layer, or press Shift + Ctrl + N
Go to your Paint Bucket Tool and change the color to a light blue.
I used 8fa7be.
The light blue will make the image lighter and give it a soft glow.
Now you have two choices :)

If you want this effect, set the color (light blue) layer to Soft Light.
The Soft Light will blend the blue into the image and give it a glow.
If you prefer the darker choice, set your light blue layer to Color Burn.
You should get something like this:

The Color Burn will make the blue darker and in turn make the image darker.
